The Role:
 

As a business development intern, you will oversee all stages of new business and sales. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and grow our clientele base. This internship has potential for college credit or commission (as we grow) Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in sales/marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment. The role will involve reaching out to professional offices while try to sell our services. You will have to learn to develop a relationship with offices to eventually have them use our product.

 

Responsibilities
 

General business development strategy

  • Prospect to develop new business through outreach and various outlets and strategies

  • Investigate sources to generate leads from inception to close

  • Develop and maintain a prospecting database

  • Follow up and make daily calls

  • Work with monthly quotas

  • Develop and use content to share with prospects (blogs, testimonials, newsletters, etc.)

  • Stay on top of industry hot topics and trends

  • Send weekly or monthly email blasts to new prospects

  • Use social media to post and target new clients

  • Grow social media channels

  • Help distribute marketing materials

The Social Media and Marketing Intern is a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future customers. This position has the responsibility of building and engaging our community daily with the goal of turning fans into customers. An essential component is communicating the company’s brand in a positive, authentic way that will attract today’s business savvy buyers.

This position is responsible for creating a deliberate and intentional social media strategy that delivers results through organic and paid advertising. The strategy will build and grow brand awareness and create a positive online reputation. The social media funnel will cultivate leads that will convert to sales.

  • Ability to create relevant, original, high-quality content (for all channels and ads)

  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Software and Adobe Software

  • Strategies to build and nurture a community on an accelerated timeline

  • Create a regular publishing schedule and promote content through social advertising

  • Leverage the right tools to manage your content

  • Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific and timely marketing campaigns based on an event launch date

  • Integrate all channels of marketing (social media, SEO, content marketing, email, print and digital marketing

  • Ability to translate conceptual ideas into compelling visual presentations
